Foundation of the Future
The AAP Foundation is evolving from a scholarship-awarding foundation into an active operating non-profit — expanding beyond academic awards to fund research, education, and advocacy that reach periodontists in every stage and setting of practice. The cornerstone of this evolution is the Levi-Richman Integration Initiative, a $2.5M campaign built on three pillars — research, education, and advocacy — unified by a single message: periodontal health is part of overall health.
Our History
For 35 years, the AAP Foundation has awarded more than $10 million in support of periodontal research, education, and scholarship.
The AAP Foundation has been awarded a 2014 William J. Gies Award from the ADEAGies Foundation.
